Greenheart Staff are #IgnitingChange through living out daily lives of service. Read more about these wonderful Greenhearts below:
Jessica Wedge, Greenheart Travel High School Abroad Programs Assistant, helps keep her north side Chicago community litter free by patrolling the neighborhood (along with her two kids Nina and Evan) for garbage a few times a week.
Emanuel Kuntzelman, Founder and President of Greenheart International, has dedicated his life to raising environmental awareness and advocating for world peace. In his work with the Global Purpose Movement, he helps to convene change makers and create opportunities for collaboration among global leaders. He is hard at work on his forthcoming book, Riding the Wave, which calls all of humanity to wake up to the state of things and join together in the journey toward positive planetary transformation.
Kyle Trebotich, Greenheart Travel Director, volunteered for a fair trade locally roasted coffee vendor and encouraged Greenheart to purchase from them for office use, and we did!
Juliet Jones, CCI Greenheart’s Director of High School Programs F-1, recently spent time teaching classes at Project Read, where she developed tremendous respect and admiration for her students, learning about their incredible stories. Many of them worked several jobs and were learning English at various levels. Juliet got to put her teaching background to use, and connect with people in her community.
Ashley Rowan, Executive Assistant to the President of Greenheart International, is a longtime soup kitchen and tutoring volunteer. She currently donates her time as a writer and blogger with social justice, environmental preservation, and fair trade agencies in order in advocacy for positive global change.
Andrea Dennis, Director of Development, Outreach, Visibility, Engagement for Greenheart International—spends her time with 95 year old Solange. For almost 4 years she has visited Solange learning about her life as a World War II survivor and the mystical experiences she has had. It is appropriate to share her story, as Solange slipped into bad health on April 12th and is now in a coma. Andrea is grateful for any loving thoughts for Solange as she goes through this transition.
Carly Visk, Partner, Sponsor, & Event Coordinator for Greenheart Transforms, is the organizer of the Ladies of Lua, a group of women who gather each month on the new moon. By creating sacred space to honor the sacred feminine, cultivate gratitude, celebrate breakthroughs, and embrace the cycles of life, the Ladies of Lua supports growth and positive transformation within each woman and in her unique expression in the community.
Lori Tibbet, Executive Regional Director of the West, Field Network, High School Programs, CCI Greenheart for Greenheart International volunteered with a group of dedicated local coordinators and field staff at our annual conference in Miami, helping sort and stock food at a food bank charity.
