About Greenheart:
Greenheart International is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit committed to connecting people and planet to create a more peaceful and sustainable global community. We achieve our goals through a unique set of programs and initiatives fostering cultural exchange, eco-fair trade, volunteerism, personal development, and environmentalism. SUMMARY:
In support of the Department of State’s BridgeUSA programs and the mission of Greenheart International, the Teach USA Program Director is responsible in managing the overall success of the J-1 Teacher Program (Teach USA). The Program Director ensures that Greenheart provides quality service, communication, and programming to U.S. host schools, international teachers, overseas partners, and the Department of State. The Program Director will strategically direct the team to achieve continued quality-program growth while collaborating with other department leaders to ensure that benchmarking, operational excellence, and key results are met. The Program Director will accomplish strategic planning and ensure efficient cross-departmental communication, accountability across functional areas/departments and provide one general direction for the Teach USA department, while also being responsible for building and ensuring adherence to the Business Plan objectives, goals and deadlines.
What we’re looking for:
We are seeking a forward-thinking and visionary leader, who possesses a strategic mindset to drive innovative solutions and long-term strategies that enhance the Teach USA program’s effectiveness and impact. With a focus on continuous improvement and growth, this leader will guide the team to achieve program goals. The ideal candidate should be positive, organized, and flexible with the ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. We are seeking someone that has experience in program management, excellent customer service and problem-solving skills, staff management expertise, and database experience. Given the nature of the role, we are seeking someone that has experience in primary/secondary education as a school administrator. International cultural exchange experience is preferred. It’s imperative that this person can relate to people of all backgrounds and beliefs. This person should be comfortable working hard, being self-directed and at ease communicating with many different stakeholders. They should also be motivated by program goals, while staying within the compliance perimeter and regulatory standards. In a fast-paced working environment, the ideal candidate will have the ability to oversee multiple projects and meet deadlines that are essential in this role.

In addition, Regional Managers will be responsible for data tracking, correspondence with program stakeholders and other administrative duties within the program support department. Regional Managers will also be responsible for ensuring program quality and compliance within Greenheart and US Department of State rules and regulations.

Greenheart’s Marketing Coordinator will create compelling and engaging branded content that captures our audience’s attention and prompts an inquiry. You will be responsible for conceptualizing, creating, and delivering engaging content in the form of captivating videos, fun reels, informative and eye-catching graphics/infographics and flyers for our social media channels, websites, and printable materials. This role demands creativity, attention to detail, and proficiency in content creation tools. The ideal candidate will be efficient at creating effective visual content based on goals, briefs, and an understanding of the Greenheart brand.
The Marketing Department touches every branch of Greenheart. We create strategies, messages, and materials for each of our cultural exchange programs. Our efforts center on growing awareness of Greenheart, acquiring qualified leads, and improving sales conversions. We advocate for cultural exchange programs and stay involved in travel/exchange-related news worldwide. We strive to build strong relationships with our partners, host organizations, host schools, host families, alumni, Department of State/Alliance stakeholders, and donors for retention and referrals.

We are working to expand Greenheart’s offering of the Department of State’s BridgeUSA Intern and Trainee programs, which are cultural exchange programs using the J-1 non-immigrant visa. Since its inception in 1961, the program has served as a valuable and important diplomatic tool of U.S. foreign policy. Its mission – to increase mutual understanding between Americans and people of other countries – remain vital to U.S. national security and building people-to-people connections around the world. Internship and Training programs are designed to allow foreign college and university students, recent graduates, and foreign professionals to come to the United States to gain exposure to U.S. culture and to receive hands-on experience in U.S. business practices in their chosen occupational field.
