The Teach-Pair-Share grant provides up to $1000 for participants on a Greenheart Exchange Teach USA program or a Greenheart Travel Teach English Abroad program. Partner with a local teacher and multiply the benefit to your students!
To apply, submit this application by January 31, 2020. Grant recipients will be notified by February 14, 2020. Funded projects should be completed by June 30, 2020.
To celebrate, we’ve reopened the Teach-Pair-Share grant application. Greenheart’s Teach-Pair-Share grant provides up to $1000 for Greenheart Teachers to partner with a teacher from their host community on a project that benefits their students and school. For example, the grant can be used to fund a language-immersion event, launch an afterschool program, or build an educational garden.
Current Greenheart Exchange Teach USA and Greenheart Travel Teach English Abroad participants are eligible to apply. Check out the video below for ideas and submit your application by Friday, January 31!
Our International Education Week (IEW) festivities don’t end with the Teach-Pair-Share grant. We’re also collaborating with Hosteling International USA on an event celebrating food as a “second language” and a great way to learn about other people and countries! If you live in or near Chicago, we hope you’ll join us as we learn how to make Serbian dishes from a Greenheart Teacher.
