If you’re in a tourist town, you have to visit like a tourist at least once. I went to the new cathedral today and an art museum (but I wasn’t allowed to take photos in the art museum) and I’m in love with the art and architecture of Salamanca! There was a wedding going on in the cathedral and it was very cool to see an event like that. I can’t wait to explore more museums and the streets of this town. #salamanca #greenhearttravel

I had seen the photos but I was not prepared for just now amazing the lights coming on in the Plaza Mayor is. I gasped out loud along with everybody else and I’m excited to see it again! Salamanca continues to impress me. #greenhearttravel #salamanca

I’ve only been here for three weeks. Going on my last week of the program (2 and 1/2 left though yayyy). Already my Spanish feels so much more advanced! I’m definitely still an intermediate/beginner, but speaking and listening goes so much smoother, and my reading and writing is getting much better as well! It’s amazing how much of a difference I’ve noticed. I’m so excited for my last and final week with #estudiosampere, but I’m also really sad. This trip has been amazing. I’ve learned so much about the language, culture, history, and people. Whereas before I knew almost nothing about the country except the language they spoke, and a few other minor things. I’m ready to take on a new week! Not so sure I’m ready to go home yet though… #salamanca #spain #castillayleon #greenhearttravel #travelforachange

My last week in Salamanca was great! 4 weeks was perfect to see everything and experience a lot, but I’m going to miss it, especially the Spanish classes and hearing and speaking the language everywhere. I hope someday I’ll get to go back, but I’m very grateful for the trip and I gained so much from it. Hasta luego, Salamanca. Gracias por todo. #salamanca #greenhearttravel #estudiosampere
