    • You will be placed in one of the below tracks during your time at the GGLC. Throughout the week your track will visit sites around Washington D.C. as well as complete a volunteer project. Please rank the below learning tracks from 1-3 (1 being your first choice). Ranking MUST have a first, second, and third choice. You CANNOT make all options your first choice. There is no guarantee that you will be placed in your first track choice.

    • This track will examine justice in terms of the distribution of wealth, opportunities, and privileges within a society. The GGLC Social Justice track will visit organizations that may focus on human rights, women's rights or the rights of minorities. Attendees will participate in a volunteer project that benefits marginalized members of the D.C community.

    • This track will help participants to learn more about the importance of social purpose when engaging in international business. Visit businesses in Washington D.C that are benefiting the world through fair trade, sustainable, and/or socially conscious business practices. Attendees have the opportunity to volunteer with a business that is making a positive change in our world.

    • Attendees in this track will learn about organizations and initiatives in Washington D.C. that are working to protect our planet, discuss environmental issues, and explore sustainable practices. They will also participate in an environmentally focused volunteer project.

        We want to get to know you and your personality a little bit better! Please record and submit a 1-2 minute video detailing one of the following prompts:

        1. Describe a community engagement experience that inspired you.
        2. Describe a situation in which you were called to step up and become a leader.

        3. What did you learn?

        NOTE: We’re not looking for a recitation of your resume or the essay questions you’ve already answered. This is a chance to let your personality, communication skills, and passion for global leadership shine. We look forward to getting to know you!

As a reminder, applications will not be considered complete until the selection committee has received your video submission.

        1. You will attend the conference and meet all scholarship expectations;
        2. Greenheart owns all submissions of blogs, videos, and pictures as well as application content for the chosen recipients;
        3. You will submit all requirements by their deadlines, or risk losing your spot on the program;
        4. You will not let your obligations as an attendee affect your current job or studies.

        With confirmation of your attendance, you will be asked to complete a liability waiver. You may be asked to do a virtual interview.
