Hello, everyone! My name is Juan Manuel and I am a J-1 trainee in San Francisco. Now, it’s been a couple of months since I started my program, and I am enjoying exploring my city and the Bay area. At the same time, I have also had the opportunity to explore other cities, such as Las Vegas, Nevada, the location of the project that I am currently working on. My project was the reason why I traveled there a few weeks ago. I met the client of the project and I explored a lot of different casinos. It was really fun!
I also attended the Absinthe show, located on the strip-side at Caesars Palace: one of the most vibrant areas of the city. The place was very intimate and small, and the show was very funny. The show is a mix of acrobatics and comedy, with jokes and audience participation. Everything happens on or above a 10 foot diameter stage, and you can even see the sweat on the faces of the performers. There are a lot of different performances, including the classic chair stack, a comedy duet, the female trapeze duet, the quartet of acrobats from Ukraine, the balloon act, the German roller skating, and many more! They were all very beautiful performances with a mix of music that was also really well done.
So, if you are in Las Vegas and want to have a great time, I highly recommend seeing the Absinthe show!
